Bekantan
Yesterday I saw a flyer one family recreation area called dufan, where icons recreational park that is ape-nosed. Yes, this animal called proboscis, is a native of Indonesia, they usually live in forests and swamps conservation in northern Borneo Tarakan. Proboscis which has the Latin name Nasalis larvatus, they like to live in groups, with the characteristics of having a distended abdomen.
One of the places that can be visited to see proboscis monkeys in the wild is the Mangrove Conservation Area and Bekantan (KKMB) in Jalan Gajah Mada, Kota Tarakan, North Kalimantan. Bekantan staple food not only bananas, these animals also love mangrove leaves as well as some other fruits. So that they are welcome to stay in the mangroves like KKMB.
The conservation around 40 proboscis monkeys are still alive, so let us keep and preserve our forests, so that the protected animals awake from extinction.
